When I originally wrote this song, I wanted to turn it into a cartoon. At the time, I didn’t have the budget to do so. That’s when I decided to do my own illustrations to bring the song to life. I received a lot of good feedback from the content, and one of my childhood friends suggested I create an actual book. I hired my sister who studied art, film, and photography at VCU to upgrade my illustrations, and after a 2 year journey, I finally became a published author with my first book.
